Elk Fork Creek Debris Removal Project

 

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids for clearing and snagging activities in removing and disposing of debris from sixteen (16) log jams and other debris within four (4) miles of Elk Fork Creek in Todd County will be accepted by Daryl Greenfield, Todd County Judge/Executive until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2014.

Bid packets can be secured from the Todd County Judge/Executive office at (202 E. Washington Street) and Elkton City Hall at (71 Public Square). Completed bid form should be delivered to Judge Greenfield or the city, or mailed to the Todd County Courthouse at (P.O. Box 355, Elkton, KY 42220).

The work area will involve clearing and snagging activities to remove log jams, downed trees and other obstructions that impede waterflow within a four (4) mile section of Elk Fork Creek; extending from Elk Fork Road Bridge downstream to Allensville Road.

For those interested in securing more information about this debris removal project, a site review will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 2, 2014 at Elkton City Hall, (71 Public Square).
