\nKayce Bright, City Clerk\/Treasure<\/span><\/strong>r<\/strong>, began working for the City in November 2022. Kayce began working with the City as the Utility Clerk. Kayce was appointed City Clerk\/Treasurer in September of 2024. Some duties of the City Clerk\/Treasurer include maintenance and safekeeping of the permanent records of the city; keeping a true and full record of all proceedings of the City Council; prepares and presents financial reports of the City to the City Council; responsible for preparation of property tax bills; oversees all taxes and licenses imposed by the City. Kayce will receive her Certification as a Kentucky Municipal Clerk in 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\nCorreo electr\u00f3nico: city_clerk@elktonky.com<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\nRebecca Collins, secretaria municipal adjunta,<\/strong> began working for the City in July 2024. In her current role, Rebecca oversees business licensing, occupational and payroll taxes, and insurance premium taxes for the City. Some duties of her position include administering and processing business licenses, maintaining records related to local taxes, assisting businesses with licensing and tax requirements, and ensuring the collection and reporting of taxes imposed by the City. Elkton Public Works Staff<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\nThe City of Elkton\u2019s Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the city\u2019s infrastructure, public spaces, and essential services. The department team includes Justin Moberly, Josh Reynolds, Chris Brady, and Dalton Taylor<\/strong>, who work daily to keep the city operating smoothly. Their responsibilities include maintaining streets, assisting with city utilities, and caring for public property throughout the community. The department is also supported by part-time employee Chris Salazar<\/strong>.
