Materials list can be obtained from Elkton City Hall or at <a href=\"https:\/\/elktonky.com\/es\/\">www.elktonky.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/elktonky.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Building-Materiels-List-Pole-Barn-3.2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download and Print &#8211; Building Materials List Pole Barn<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Bid Item 2 \u2013 Construction Labor:<\/u><\/em><\/strong> Bid Item 2 contract is for labor only to build a 60\u2019 x 80\u2019 x 16\u2019 pole barn including a one (1) man door, two (2) 14\u2019 x 16\u2019 roll up doors, and two (2) windows. The building includes a loft running the length of the building 8\u2019 off the ground and 10\u2019 deep. All materials will be provided by the city.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Bid Item 3 \u2013 Concrete and Labor:<\/u><\/em><\/strong> Bid Item 3 contract is for concrete and labor to build a 60\u2019 x 80\u2019, four-inch (4\u201d) slab for the building floor. City will provide the gravel. Building will be built, and all plumbing needed will be installed prior to the concrete floor being poured.<\/p>\n<p>All contractors will be required to provide proof of general liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million general liability and adequate worker\u2019s compensation insurance prior to the contract being awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Questions or additional information is available at Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky 42220 or by calling 270-265-9877. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with each Bid Item listed above on the sealed envelope and submitted to Mayor\u2019s Office, City of Elkton, PO Box 578, Elkton, Kentucky, 42220, or delivered to Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky, by <strong><em>1:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, April 13, 2023.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Bids will be opened at this time and presented to the city council for review at a regular meeting on April 13, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Elkton reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any technicality or informality in bidding or bids received, where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the city.
