The City of Elkton is accepting sealed bids for the sale the following:<\/span><\/p>\n The truck is in excellent condition, has approximately 7,000 actual miles and is equipped as follows<\/span><\/p>\n This vehicle was replaced with funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agencies Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.\u00a0 Per the requirements of this program the City of Elkton cannot sell, donate or otherwise transfer ownership of this vehicle to any individual or organization who intends to utilize it in an emergency response capacity.\u00a0 Successful bidders will be required to verify their compliance with this restriction in writing prior to transfer of the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n For more information or to arrange an inspection of the vehicle contact Elkton City Hall at 270-265-9877 or via email firedept@elktonky.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Sealed bids must be clearly marked as \u201cSealed Bid \u2013 Water Tanker\u201d and submitted to City Clerk, City of Elkton, PO Box 578, Elkton, Kentucky, 42220, or delivered to Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky, by 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018.\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at this time with final determination of winner to be made by the Elkton City Council at their next public meeting.
