In the past, the city of Elkton only provided residential customers weekly garbage pick-up service using a 96-gallon container. However, the city recently entered into a new garbage service agreement that now allows commercial businesses the option to obtain weekly garbage pick-up service through the city. Service to businesses is optional and the cost would be $9.25 per 96-gallon container per month and will be billed on your Elkton Utilities bill. Businesses that need larger containers must contract with the garbage company of your choice.
