The Elkton City Council appointed Mr. Wade Griffin as the city’s newest council member during a special meeting held on November 6th, 2025. Mr. Griffin will serve the remainder of former Councilman David Powell’s term, which concludes on December 31st, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Todd County, Mr. Griffin recently retired from McGee Pest Control after 26 years as manager. He currently resides in the Dunheath community of Elkton.

Mr. Griffin will be sworn in during the City Council meeting on December 11th, 2025, at 6:00PM at City Hall. The Mayor and City Council look forward to working with Mr. Griffin as they continue moving the City of Elkton forward.
