On December 11, 2012, the city recognized seven firefighters for their continuing years of service to the Elkton VFD. Those honored in the picture below are as follows: Front Row (L-R): Larry Ross – 30 years, Derrell Waggoner – 33 years, & Jim Weathers – 40 years. Back Row (L-R): Bobby Standard – 34 years, Pete Steger – 31 years, Ben Ricchuite – 30 years & Mac Harper – 40 years.
