Notice of Public Hearing by Elkton Planning Commission

The Elkton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky to hear comments regarding the adoption of any comprehensive plan amendments and make recommendations as to the zoning or other land use regulations which will be effective for the following properties:

  • Upon annexation, approximately 87.41 acres south of the center of Elkton, west of Allensville Street, East of and adjacent to South Main Street, north of Old Allensville Road, and South Poplar Street, is proposed to be zoned R-3 Multi-Family Residential.
  • Rezone Guthrie Road Parcel 071-22 from A-1 Agricultural District to R-3 Multi- Family Residential District and from R-1 Single Family Residential to R-3 Multi- Family, with conditions that approximately 87.41 acres south of the center of Elkton, west of Allensville Street, East of and adjacent to South Main Street, north of Old Allensville Road, and South Poplar Street, is approved for annexation and zoned R-3 Multi-Family Residential.
