Kick off the holiday season with Elkton’s beloved Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! Held every year on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, this event brings the community together for an evening filled with festive cheer, magical lights, and unforgettable memories.
Enjoy cozy horse-drawn carriage rides around the square, sing along during heartwarming holiday performances, and capture the magic with pictures with Santa Claus himself!
In past years. we’ve delighted guests with special visits from live reindeer and a festive s’more bar where families could roast marshmallows and sip hot cocoa under the twinkling lights. We look forward to bringing more of these special touches each year to make the night even more magical.
