- The City of Elkton Planning Commission has received a request from Kevin Zook to rezone 309 W Main Street, Elkton, KY parcel E-02-03-04 as well as parcels located on Hampton Court: E-02-03-13 , E-02-03-14, and E-02-03-15 from R-1 Single Family to R-2 Medium Density Residential. A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky, to consider this request. All comments that are sent by letters, will be given consideration. Contact Elkton Planning Commission at 270-265-9879 Option 4 for any questions or concerns.
- The Elkton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky to hear comments regarding the adoption of any comprehensive plan amendments and make recommendations as to the zoning or other land use regulations which will be effective for the following properties upon its annexation:

- Annexation of 3.04 acres approximately 1.5 miles west of Elkton, KY on the north side of US Highway 68 ( Business) approximately 810 feet west of Beckam Road at 1570 West Jeff David Highway, Elkton, KY 42220, with recommendation of zoning as a B-2 Neighborhood Commercial District upon approval of annexation.
- Annexation of tract contains approximately 5.31 acres. Beginning at the southern boundary of LOT 16 of Riverbend Subdivision, 1370.75 feet from the intersection of the west right of way of Pond River Road and the north right of way of US 68, with recommendation of zoning as a B-3 Highway Commercial District upon approval of annexation.
