City property tax bills are currently being mailed. Reminder that you can pay a 2% discount if paid by October 31st. Between November 1st and January 2nd you pay the base amount. Beginning January 3rd, there is a 2% penalty added to he bill. And, beginning February 1st there is a total of 10% penalty added to the bill.
You also now have the option to pay your property tax bill online at www.elktonky.com and select the “Pay Online” button and then “City Payment Portal.” There is a convenience fee added for credit and debit card payments, but there is no charge for paying with e-check.
