There are rumors floating around that the City of Elkton is about to shut down. That a curfew is about to start. These rumors are false. Please in the days that lay ahead as we all battle this virus, do not fall for the rumors.
If any action is to be taken it will be made public, if you want to know call City Hall at 270-265-9877.
However, I will ask that you follow the orders from the Governor’s Office, and that you use social distancing. If you need to get food at the restaurants, groceries, building supplies and gas please continue to support the local businesses. We do need you to make your purchases and not hang around. For those running around after dark and doing damage you need to stay at home.
