Pennyrile Allied Community Services, Inc. has received additional funding to assist eligible clients with their water and wastewater bills. There are two different programs that fall under Healthy at Home Utility Assistance:
Healthy at Home Utility Assistance Crisis Program: Clients must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and provide a past due, disconnect or proof of a payment plan with the utility company. Clients can receive up to $500 in assistance.
Healthy at Home Utility Assistance Subsidy Program: Clients must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level; however, they are NOT required to provide a past due, disconnect or proof of payment plan. Eligible clients will receive a $500 benefit to be used on future bills. The purpose of this program is to prevent future disconnects.
Both programs will run until December 11, 2020.
