INVITATION TO BID
ASPHALT SURFACING
Sealed bids are being accepted for Asphalt Surfacing of various streets in the city of Elkton, Kentucky.
Specifications and bid form may be picked up at City Hall, 71 Public Square, Elkton, Kentucky during normal business hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or by contacting City Hall at 270-265-9877 or by electronic mail at city_clerk@elktonky.com.
Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and will be accepted until Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened at this time and will be presented to the City Council for review on Monday, November 10, 2014.
Bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly labeled with “Asphalt Surfacing Bid” and mailed or hand delivered to City of Elkton, City Hall, PO Box 578, 71 Public Square, Elkton, KY 42220. No facsimile bids will be accepted.
The City of Elkton reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any technicality or informality in bidding or bids received, where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the city.
