Join us for HarvestFest on Saturday, October 6, 2018, when Historic Public Square in downtown Elkton will be lined with food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and much more! Vendors will be setup on the Square from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm selling pumpkins, gourds, mums, games, homemade ice cream, baked goods, boutique clothing, jewelry, rustic wood crafts, pottery, candles, home decor, hamburgers, barbecue, funnel cakes and much more!
Live music on the Square kicks off at 9:45 am with the bluegrass sounds of the Todd County Boys with Amanda Sadler. Zach Westcott acoustic performance begins at 11:00 am followed by the Skyelor Anderson Band at Noon. Skyelor was a contestant on the 1st season of the XFactor (USA edition) where he placed in the top 8 of the men’s division. Whether an acoustic show or with his band, Skyelor plays originals, covers, modern country and country standards. He even throws in a little rock ‘n roll every now and then. The final performance for the day begins at about 1:15 pm with Reckless Sidemen featuring Clark Sexton.
Within walking distance of the Square, there will also be a free Children’s Fun Area at the Milliken Memorial Community House on West Main Street. This area is sponsored by Elkton Bank and Trust Company, United Southern Bank, and Weathers Drugs/L & R Soda Shop. With the support of our sponsors, the Children’s Fun Area is free from 10 am to 2 pm and will feature various inflatable bouncers and a video game trailer equipped with XBox 360, XBox One, and Wii stations.
