The City of Elkton, Kentucky has declared various items surplus property and will offer items for sale, as is, under sealed bid. Items include various street lights, miscellaneous chain link fencing and fencing supplies, file cabinets, pvc tubing and pipe, bird canon, scrap crossties, miscellaneous scrap metal, utility trailer, and more. Items may be inspected at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 304 Weathers Avenue, Elkton, Kentucky on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2018 from 8 AM to 3 PM.
Bids must be submitted on the official bid form and should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid” and should be mailed or presented to the Elkton City Clerk at City Hall, 71 Public Square, PO Box 578, Elkton, KY 42220 by Friday, October 26, 2018 at 3:30 PM local time. The City of Elkton reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any technicality or informality in bidding or bids received, where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the city.
