Last December, with tornado and storm damage all around us, the decision was made to cancel the Elkton Christmas Parade. With spring coming on, it is now time to celebrate our community with the “Memories of Elkton Parade.”
The Parade is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022 and will leave Todd County Central High School on South Main Street at 2:00 pm. The parade will then head north towards Public Square, exiting the Square on West Main Street and ending at the Milliken Memorial Community House. The parade features floats and entries from local businesses, schools and churches. Please note traffic will be blocked to Public Square starting around 2:00 PM until the parade is over.
The Grand Marshall of the parade this year will be all Todd County sports teams to celebrate their recent accomplishments. We encourage all school groups and sports teams to participate in the parade as well as any business, church, or individual.
