The city would like to make you aware of two upcoming events. Even though they are not city sponsored, these are two great opportunities to support the community.
Reunion Beatles Concert – Friday, March 29th is your opportunity to see the nationwide touring Reunion Beatles right here in Elkton! Fellow Todd Countian Brad O’Shoney (TCCHS Class of 1978) was instrumental in bringing one of the country’s top Beatles tribute bands to Elkton. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Milliken Memorial Community House. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
Leap Day Lunch – Historic Todd County. Inc. is sponsoring a BBQ lunch fundraiser on Thursday, February 29th from 11 am to 2 pm at the Pop’s Building, 201 East Main Street. Bar-B-Q Shack will be providing a choice of pulled pork, quartered smoked chicken, baked beans, potato salad, slaw, burgoo, cornbread, buns, and peach cobbler. You will be able to sit down and have lunch or grab a plate to go. Cost is donation only.
