United States Census Day

Today April 1, 2020 is United States Census Day. The state, the county and the cities need you to complete your census online (if you have access).

Today is April 1st, and although we call it April Fool’s day; the census is no joke. An accurate account of all residents is needed to insure proper funding of schools, government programs, representation at state and federal level. The census is private and secure information.

Special note: If you get your mail delivered to a P.O. Box, you did not get census information mailed to you. Please go to www.2020census.gov to complete the 10 questions online.

If not completed online a census taker will follow-up later this year. EVERYONE COUNTS. EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT. SO PLEASE COMPLETE THE CENSUS.

Message from Elkton Mayor Arthur Green.
