Christmas in Elkton will be celebrated this year on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Many local businesses will have open house, special sales, refreshments, and other activities throughout the day followed by a nighttime Christmas Parade starting at 5:00 PM.
The Parade will leave Todd County Central High School on South Main Street at 5 :00 PM and then head north towards Public Square. Parade route will exit the Square on West Main Street and ending at the Milliken Memorial Community House. The parade features lighted floats and entries from local businesses, schools and churches. Please note traffic will be blocked to Public Square starting around 4:00 PM until all festivities are over. The Grand Marshalls of the parade this year will be the present and former mayors of Elkton.
Following the parade, Santa Claus will visit the Milliken Memorial Community House located at 208 W Main St where you can get a free digital picture with Santa, free take home refreshments sponsored by the city and a free goodie bag sponsored by BR Knuckles Insurance.
